Bone Safety Compact Springless Sign Stand for Roll-Up Signs

Capable of withstanding wind gusts up to 60 mph without requiring tie downs and will return to the upright position when tipped sideways at 65 degrees!

The SZ-412 Springless Sign Stand from Bone Safety allows for the attachment of roll up (reflective or mesh) signs up to 48" x 48" in size with a minimum bottom height of 12" (As required by MUTCD). With a single attachment point to hold and display the roll-up signs, this Sign Stand deploys fast and is easy to use. Made from steel components, this springless sign stand is bright orange powder-coated and clear zinc-plated for high visibility and to minimize corrosion. Independently adjustable and multi-positional legs on the stand allow for stability on uneven terrain. All four legs have a telescopic inner leg for maximum footprint in heavy winds. The Sign Stand legs also have three independent adjustments for bottom height with a minimum 12" bottom height in first position. With it's nuts and bolts construction, the SZ-412 Sign Stand features parts that can easily be replaced if worn or damaged which makes this sign stand a good long term investment. The SZ-412 Sign Stand from Bone Safety is NCHRP-350 certified.

Please note: If using roll-up signs manufactured by Bone Safety, please choose the Auto-Latch option, which comes with this stand. If using another brand of roll-up sign, please choose the Universal Bracket option.

How the Bone Safety SZ-412 Springless Sign Stand Works:

The included auto-latch bracket assembly securely fastens by means of snap quick release and provides a positive guide and down stop position as well
as a secure single-point attachment between the two piece polycarbonate corner pocket and the sign stand. The sign stand auto-latch bracket shall features a quick release lever to release the roll-up sign from the stand’s single-point attachment by means of a single upward lifting motion of the auto-latch bracket release lever, in concert with a lifting and sliding motion of the roll-up sign. The lifting motion of the roll-up sign slides the sign’s single attachment point polycarbonate pocket assembly out of the stand’s auto-latch bracket assembly. The mast of the sign stand incorporates a nickel-plated quick release snap button to attach the auto-latch bracket, as well as optional accessories to the sign stand. The legs of this sign stand have both a pull-pin and kick release mechanism for releasing the legs. Pull-pins have oversized heads to allow for gloved hands in winter environments. 

General Maintenance of the SZ-412 Springless Sign Stand:

Remove caked-on mud and grime from the sign stand. On a quarterly basis, check all screws, nuts & bolts for proper tightness. Check all pull-pins and snap buttons at least once a quarter. Be sure not to overtighten the leg bolts as this will prevent from releasing properly. Periodically, moving parts of the sign stand may be sprayed lightly with WD-40. Thoroughly examine sign stand and replace or repair any damaged or worn component parts.
