Cammenga Phosphorescent Lensatic Compass
Military-Grade Durability and Performance
This rugged compass is essentially the same model supplied to the U.S. Military, with one key difference: it uses phosphorescent paint for lightless visibility instead of self-luminous tritium. Built for extreme durability, it features a shockproof, damage-resistant aluminum construction and is both waterproof to considerable depths and sandproof for added reliability in harsh environments.
Designed for precision, the compass delivers an accuracy of ±40 mils and performs flawlessly in temperatures ranging from -50°F to 150°F. Its non-liquid-filled needle housing ensures consistent performance without being affected by temperature changes. A copper induction-damping ring quickly slows and stabilizes the needle for fast, steady readings.
The compass includes an olive drab cord lanyard, belt clip, and an OD green nylon pouch for secure carry and storage, making it a dependable navigation tool for demanding field use.
