Crackshot Sting Ray Guardz - Sting Ray Protection Guards for Children & Adults

Crackshot Sting Ray Guardz are ideal for waders and surf fisherman offering Sting Ray protection of the lower leg for both children and adults. These Ray Guards are made with 1000 Denier Nylon fabric with polycarbonate inserts to protect from Sting Ray barbs. Sting Ray Guardz feature 2 oz rubber waterproofing which is applied to the inside surface to prevent water pockets from forming inside the Ray Guardz. 2 x 1" polyester straps and quick release buckles ensure a secure fit. An additional 1" polyester strap goes under the foot to prevent "floating up" while wading.

Sting Ray Guardz™ are manufactured with denier nylon fabric encasing acrylic and polycarbonate inserts. They are string ray proof to a height of 12”, weigh 8 ounces each and are impact tested to ASTM 1342-05 specifications. Sting Ray Guardz™ stop a 12-guage shotgun blast at 20 yards! This testing was done with a Remington Model 11-87, 12 gauge, 28 inch barrel, full choke and 3-1-8 lead shot loads. The fabric has 2 ounce
rubber waterproofing applied to the inside surface to prevent water pockets from forming inside of the Sting Ray Guardz™. The guardz are secured in place with two 1” polyester straps and quick release buckles with an additional 1” polyester strap going under the foot to prevent “floating up” while wading. Sting Ray Guardz™ must be worn over wading shoes or boots since they offer no protection to sole or toes of the foot. Sting Ray Guardz™ are manufactured in Sand color fabric.

Notes: These sting ray guards do not feature sting ray protection for the sole, toes or front of the foot. Crackshot recommends wearing Sting Ray Guardz OVER wading shoes or boots.
