Haglof Increment Borer Chuck
The Haglöf Increment Borer Chuck is designed to be used with Haglof Increment Borer Bits, up to 8" in length, in low speed electric drills to sample treated lumber. Use this increment borer chuck to core into the sidewall of an individual board to your desired depth, and back out the bit. Cores remain inside the bit until next core sampled pushes it out. Drill into the end grain of a board to remove the last core. The end grain core remains in place when the bit is reversed because of the wood’s horizontal grain. Use with a minimum drill size of 1/2˝.
Note: The use of a power drill with any borer bit, including those listed here, will void any expressed or implied warranty. Haglof Increment Borer Bits are designed to be used with Haglof Increment Borers, not in power drills. Using Haglof Increment Borer Bits in power tools will void any implied or expressed warranty offered by Haglof Sweden on this product.
