I have an english setter that's 46 lbs. She is narrow and this vest is too wide between the front legs. I got the medium that was rated for 45-60 lbs or something like that. It was almost too big at the back too. I'm going to get a small and hope that fixes both of these issues.

It's a great vest and impossible for my dog to tangle up her front leg in the collar like she did with a strap and buckle vest. More importantly the safety-yellow collar lets me tell my two Brittanys apart at a distance or in brush when one wears yellow and the other wears orange. I had been spray-painting the younger one purple or pink using clearance Halloween punk rock hair spray, which rubs off every couple of hours. Now Little Cleopatra doesn't have to be ashamed when she hunts!
