The global needle works in all three magnetic zones and is crafted from durable Swedish steel for smooth, dependable performance. The DryFlex grip and ergonomically curved baseplate fit comfortably in the hand, while the magnifying lens and rubber friction feet allow for precise map work. The baseplate also features map-measuring scales in mm and inches, plus popular map scales of 1:25k, 1:40k, 1:50k, and GPS scales.

High transparency in the baseplate, combined with a distinct arrow and clear, contemporary font, makes navigation easier, while luminous markings and a graduation ring enable night-time use. Red/black north-south lines in the capsule bottom ensure quick and safe needle settling, making this compass a reliable tool for both day and night navigation.
