The Silva Ranger 2.0 Compass is a mirror sighting compass that is made for experienced users and professionals. The Silva Ranger 2.0 Compass is made for accuracy, precision, and durability. The Silva Ranger 2.0 Compass comes equipped with a slope card and distance lanyard as well. The slope card is for detecting if you're at risk for an avalanche, and by knowing the slope you can judge any distance. The lanyard comes with four scales on it; 1.24k, 1:25k, 1:50k and 1:62.5. This helps in measuring the distance of your hike. The Silva Ranger 2.0 Compass features DryFlex™ grip that is for easy handling, a clinometer for measuring slope angle and comes with a built-in adjuster for magnetic declination, magnifying lens, and rubber friction feet for precision map work. This compass can also be used at nighttime with night / luminous markings, you can enable night time navigation up to 4 hours once activated by daylight or flashlight.
