The TOPS Yacare continues the company’s tradition of designs inspired by real jungle experience, following knives like the Brakimo and Tanimboca Puukko. Created by TOPS GM Craig Powell after seeing similarly styled blades in Costa Rica, the Yacare draws influence from barong-style machetes while maintaining its own distinct character. Guidance from TOPS founder Leo ensured the design fit naturally into the lineup.

Built from 3/16” 1095 carbon steel with the new Tungsten Cerakote finish, the Yacare features thick, contoured black canvas Micarta handles for a solid, comfortable grip. Its all-belly blade bites deep into vines, brush, and wood, making it ideal for medium to heavy chopping. With its wide profile, high grind, and balanced weight, this machete is ready for serious outdoor work—whether on a camping trip or a Bushcraft Global adventure.
