Commonly used by Foresters, Wildland Firefighters and other Outdoor Professionals, this Forest Adze from Warwood Tool features a 4-3/4 lb head with a 34" Hickory Handle (choose with or without a safety grip). A Forest Adze has a 6-1/4" straight edge shaped like a hoe, but the Forest Adze works like a pick axe making it ideal for cutting through multiple types of vegetation, like roots, sod, etc. and makes quick work of dry soil, stubborn roots and thick sod.
