A unique head on Wood Owl's ultra smooth tri-cut auger bit utilizes cutting spurs to scribe and bore extremely smooth holes with minimal blowout. Wood Owl ultra smooth tri-cut auger bits are 25-35% lighter than standard ship augers which reduces fatigue from extended use. Each Wood Owl Ultra Smooth Tri-Cut Auger Bit features a precision cut lead screw commandingly pulls the bit straight and true through the material without wandering and is PTFE coated to minimize friction and allow quick, easy cutting and chip ejection in the stickiest wood.
