Zynolyte Hi-Temp/Hi-Heat Paint | 16 oz Aerosol | Net Weight 11 oz
Withstands temps up to 1200 degrees F
Zynolyte® Hi-Temp Paint is a flame resistant and heat resistant coating uniquely formulated to produce a lasting finish that is resistant to surface temperatures reaching up to 1,200°F (649°C). It is expressly designed for use on metal surfaces subject to extreme heat. This Hi-Heat Paint is best used where high temperature protection is vital. Use this hi-temp paint on interior and exterior applications. Once cured, this paint is extremely tough, offering a hardened surface coating resistant to corrosion and pitting of the surface it covers. Zynolyte Hi-Temp paint will not chip off, peel away, discolor or chalk. Offers excellent resistance to gasoline, rust, salt sprays, oils, greases, humidity and temperatures up to 1,200°F (649°C).
Zynolyte Hi-Temp Paint can be used on all exposed metal surfaces, particularly where extreme heat resistance is required, such as engine manifolds, mufflers, incinerators, space heaters, outside of barbecues, fireplaces, etc.
Flame and heat resistant Zynolyte® Hi-Temp Paint coating is formulated to produce a lasting finish.

Directions: For best results, apply only enough paint to provide complete coverage of the substrate. Apply only to surfaces between 50° and 95°F (10° and 35°C). All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of all dust dirt, grease, wax, mildew, or other contaminants that would adversely affect paint adhesion. Extremely slick, glossy surfaces should be lightly sanded. Areas with exposed rust should be scraped clean with a scraper or wire brush. Cover adjacent areas to protect from spray mist. To achieve the highest temperature protection and to thoroughly cure the coating, allow coating to air-dry for 30 minutes then gradually increase the temperature between 450° to 650°F (232° to 343°C), two to three times, allowing it to cool to room temperature between firings. While curing, smoke will be emitted from the film therefore, good ventilation of the work area is required. Shake can for at least one minute after rattle of agitator ball is heard, and intermittently during use. Hold can 8 to 12 inches from surface to be coated, and press sprayhead firmly. Use steady, even strokes while spraying. After spraying, turn can upside down and press spray button for approximately two seconds to clear paint from valve.
Limitations: Please refer to the Safety Data Sheets for specific information on material hazards, etc. Do not apply at temperatures less than 40°F (4°C).
